SEVEN DEADLY PLEASURES juxtaposes the clichéd trappings of the lounge act with elements of German Expressionism. - Heinrich and Elsa are two German performers "exiled" from Berlin due to a Milli Vanilli-esque scandal. The show includes original songs with lyrics based on the poetry of Goethe, dance numbers tinged with the stylings of Mary Wigman and Pina Bausch, original video, and banter which draws equally on stand-up comedy and the writings of Herman Hesse and Georg Buchner. Performed by Corey Dargel & Sheila Donovan |
